Dan Savage has a fascinating column with the Onion AV Club. His most recent topic is on disabilities and sexual activity:
“A final word of warning: ‘Remember that because you are feeling so needy,’ says KSO, ‘you are vulnerable to someone who just wants to have sex with you and isn’t really interested in being a boyfriend. If someone says that you should have sex with him because no one else is ever going to want you, run the other way!'”
One thing stood out for me about all of the advice in this column. It’s not just for people with disabilites. Too many perfectly able-bodied people don’t even bother to consider these sorts of problems as applying to them.
