Let us place the [Un]Intelligent Design argument in a slightly different framework:
Read the rest of the comic – it’s a riot. It’s very easy to dismiss a religion not your own. You have no vested interest (unless a member of a religion not your own is threatening you… but that’s a topic for another day). Yet, why is it so difficult to dismiss religious beliefs that are held tight? Is the Norse explanation any more or less silly than the Christian?
I’m just going to curl up in a blanket, wait for the Singularity, and hope to see some toasters fall from the sky. 🙂
